Sometimes, in life, your heart starts to make decisions for you before you head has a chance to argue..
I have had MANY of these moments in the past few months and I have made the big decision to ‘wrap up’ my photography business.
Why? – Because of these two gorgeous little faces you see here!
Our weekends are precious.
Even when they are at school, the few hours they are with me are worth more than gold.
The hours I spend on the computer each night when I could be sitting with my husband.
Right here and now in my life they mean more to me than anything else.
I want to take more photos of MY kids, because quite honestly there are massive gaps in the record keeping department.
Does this mean that I am quitting forever? NO! I am following my heart for now.
Maybe a new journey will present itself..For now I want more than anything else in the world to just BE here for my beautiful boys.
To be a mother first.
To follow my heart.
Sure lots of people do both and do it brilliantly but for me, right now it is about being here for them.
love photography! I love photographing the beautiful moments in people’s lives.
I love witnessing the precious lives from behind my lens.
But what I love even more is being present in the moment and soaking up what sets my heart on fire.

I am so excited to get home on Tuesday and see our little package – although it will be amongst moving into our new place – but I will be making time for sure to sneak a peak!

Jess what an inspiring and courageous decision!! You are an amazing photographer, but that will always be there! The best way to capture the magic moments in your own life is to be present to them!!! How exciting for you!! And you know you can always go back when ur ready!!!
